Who We Are
We are a nonprofit organization born in the heart of California’s San Joaquin Valley, dedicated to serving the rural communities of western Fresno County.
Since 2005, we have promoted community training and development through education, sustainable agriculture, technology, health, and partnerships with universities and sister organizations.

You Too Can Be a Community "Promotor/a"
A Community Promoter is born from the heart. It's anyone who dreams of a better future for their community and is willing to take action. Your age, experience, or profession doesn’t matter, if you have the desire to learn, share, and support others, you already have the most important thing.
Being a promoter means being part of a family that transforms, informs, and plants hope in every corner of our rural communities.

We host health fairs, nutrition classes, and connect families with medical resources to improve their quality of life.

Luis R. Community Garden Participant
"The garden didn’t just give me fresh food—it gave me community. We shared knowledge, worked side by side, and even made new friends. Here, I found health and connection."
Lupita S. Volunteer and Promotora
Being part of Los Promotores has filled me with pride. I’ve learned to speak in public, to support my people, and to grow as a leader. Here, I found a purpose greater than myself."
